Chris previously worked as a financial analyst with Round One Investments, a venture capital firm in the Los Angeles area and worked with Merrill Lynch while finishing his undergraduate degree. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.

Chris Bancroft is co-director of ARA's National Student Housing Group based in Austin, Texas. He joined ARA in 2007 after a three-year association with another national brokerage firm where he helped to expand their student housing business across the country. Chris has experience in over 70 student markets and has been involved in over $1.5 billion in student housing dispositions. He interfaces on a daily basis with institutional, private client, developer, tenant-in-common, opportunity-fund and JV equity groups seeking disposition and acquisition services with this product type.
Chris Epp is co-director of ARA's National Student Housing Group based in Austin, Texas. He previously was the director of the Private Client Services Group with the ARA Dallas / Fort Worth Office, where he participated in $883 M in multifamily sales. Prior to joining ARA, Chris spent five years in the Dallas office of another national brokerage firm where he was awarded the Rookie of the Year and Service Excellence awards in 2006. Chris is a graduate of the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance. Chris is also a former All American and was team captain of the SMU Swim Team in 2002.
Patton K. Jones, manages the Austin, Texas office and is responsible for managing the multifamily business development, market research, and underwriting in the Austin and San Antonio region as well as the national student and manufactured housing groups. Prior to joining ARA, Pat was involved in a myriad of different entrepreneurial ventures: single-family patio home development, international sales manager for a Fortune 500 tech firm, and a principal in an aviation parts company. While running the aviation parts business, Pat worked overseas and was responsible for sales in 33 countries. Pat received his Political Science degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
Kevin Zentmeyer Analyst, obtained his BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Kevin is responsible for market research, underwriting, and the financial analysis of ARA projects for the National Student Housing Group. He is also responsible for tracking student housing trades nationally and producing market reports on developing student markets. Kevin worked as an intern within the ARA National Student Housing Group for a year prior to joining the team as full-time analyst. He is also an avid amateur soccer player.
Liefen Su-Hovd, Marketing Director, leads the Marketing Team and brings over 10 years of marketing and consulting experience. She has worked in the oil and gas industries as well as international commercial building construction where she gained knowledge of the proposal process, oversaw project management, and acted as a liaison between US and International corporations. Her responsibilities include: the structuring and implementation of marketing strategies, in-house design and production of multimedia presentations, offering documents, newsletters and brochures, due diligence, as well as acting as a liaison between the principals and their clients. Ms. Su-Hovd graduated from the University of Houston with an International Marketing degree.
