Kenneth M. Krasnow, Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining ARA Florida, Ken was Trammell Crow Company’s Executive Vice President where he had responsibility for the overall strategic direction of Trammell Crow’s tri-state brokerage unit, focused on business growth, recruiting, training and development. His tenure with Trammell Crow Company was preceded by his work as Cushman & Wakefield’s Executive Managing Director and New York Area Leader where he had overall responsibility for the firm’s five offices in the New York area. In September 2005, Ken was named one of the Top 50 Leaders in Commercial Real Estate by Real Estate Weekly and was also one of Real Estate New York’s Top “40 under 40” as well as Real Estate Forum’s “next great leaders.” Ken is widely recognized and sought out as an industry leader and is regularly quoted on important real estate issues in publications including, among others, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Daily News, New York Post, Newsday and Crain’s New York Business. He has appeared on CNBC, WNBC-TV, in addition to regional cable news and WCBS radio. He is also a regular speaker and moderator for industry events such as Real Share and Commercial Property World in addition to being a guest lecturer at NYU's Real Estate Institute. Ken also served as Regional Managing Director for Cushman & Wakefield’s suburban area, where he was instrumental in guiding the region to record revenues, and also as Cushman & Wakefield’s Director of Business Development where he was responsible for client relationships and transactional activity in the tri-state area. Ken joined C&W in 1987 and spent ten years as a successful commercial leasing broker in Midtown Manhattan before joining the management ranks. In Ken’s 20 years of commercial real estate, he has represented major companies that included United Way, CBS, JP Morgan Chase, Benetton-USA, The Greater NY Hospital Association and Chubb Insurance. Ken was also responsible for over three million square feet of prime building agencies in New York including 51 W. 52nd Street, 730 Fifth Avenue, 555 Madison Avenue and 450 Park Avenue. Ken is extremely active in many civic and industry organizations including REBNY, CORENET GLOBAL, YM/WREA, ULI, NYU and the Association for Better New York (ABNY) where he serves on the steering committee. He is also involved in several charitable organizations and was recently presented with the first annual Percy Douglas award by Friends of Island Academy for his outstanding service and commitment to impoverished youth in New York City. He currently serves as Co-President for the Friends of Island Academy and serves on the board for the Thyroid, Head and Neck Cancer (THANC) Foundation.
Ken received his BBA in Finance from Emory University and has completed extensive graduate work at NYU.
Before joining Apartment Realty Advisors, Kevin served as the Development Manager for Suffolk Construction Company. His responsibilities included development, acquisition and valuation assignments for a full range of property types in Florida. Prior to Suffolk Construction, Kevin was responsible for the acquisition of over 18,000 acres of environmentally sensitive land for The Nature Conservancy, one of the largest environmental not-for-profit organizations in the world. A majority of this land was subsequently re-sold to private, state and federal agencies under Kevin's direction. Kevin's background is in real estate appraisal. His appraisal experience dates to 1985 and includes valuations of large-scale office, industrial, commercial and residential PUD development properties throughout the state of Florida.
Kevin has held a Florida real estate license since 1985 and is a graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing & Economics.
