Todd Fletcher

Todd Fletcher Co-Founded ARA's National Manufactured Housing Group and is a member of the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI). Based in Denver, CO, he handles all aspects of the marketing process including client development, pricing strategies, valuation/modeling, and marketing, as well as negotiation and closing of transactions. Partnering with Andrew Shih, Todd marketed and closed the largest brokered deal in the manufactured housing community industry with the sale of 16 assets totaling 5,911 home sites across four states to a newly formed private REIT, with a total deal size in excess of $330 million.

Mr. Fletcher brings significant transaction experience in the manufactured housing community sector to the group. Prior to joining the ARA team, Todd was with Hometown America in Chicago, IL. They are one of the largest privately held owners and operators of manufactured housing communities in the nation (127 communities with over 48,000 home sites). He spent almost 4 years with Hometown where he was directly responsible for 12 acquisitions totaling $350M, the refinancing of almost $550M of assets, and the disposition of 30 non-core assets totaling $150M. Todd was also a key member in Hometown's take-private $2.3B merger with Chateau Communities and asset manager for all assets acquired. While at Stockbridge Real Estate Funds, Todd was involved with the Yes! Communities joint venture with BaseCamp Capital, created to acquire Clayton Homes' 67 property, 18,500 site manufactured housing community portfolio located in 19 states. His prior experience also included an asset management role with RREEF.

Todd holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Colorado where he was the captain and coach of the Freestyle Ski Team. Prior to moving to Colorado for college Mr. Fletcher was born and raised on a family owned and operated dairy farm in central California.
 
 
Andrew Shih
Austin, Texas

  

Andrew Shih Co-Founded ARA's National Manufactured Housing Group and is based in the team's headquarters in Austin, TX. He is a member of the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) and handles all aspects of the marketing process including client development, pricing strategies, valuation/modeling, and marketing, as well as negotiation and closing of transactions. Partnering with Todd Fletcher, Mr. Shih marketed and closed the largest brokered deal in the United States Manufactured Housing industry, the sale of 16 Hometown America assets across multiple states to AMC REIT, with a total deal size in excess of $330 million.

Prior to joining ARA, Andrew was a Vice President at a national brokerage company where he focused on new client development, financial underwriting, marketing and escrow management for multi-housing transactions. He has been involved in the multi-housing brokerage industry since 2002, closing over 120 transactions totaling over $575 million. His prior real estate experience also includes researching and analyzing multifamily agency securities for the Wall Street commercial mortgage- backed securities trading desk of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and analyzing residential mortgage mergers & acquisitions while part of the finance team at Chemical Bank.

Andrew received his B.S. with distinction from Cornell University and his M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to moving to Austin, he was born, raised, educated and worked in New York.
 
 
Brian Vita
Austin, Texas

  

Brian Vita, focuses on private client services transactions for ARA's Manufactured Housing Group. His numerous responsibilities include the financial analysis of every community reviewed by the Group and he prepares and oversees the creation of marketing material and website for every listing assignment. Additionally, he stays involved throughout the closing process and maintains a focus on business development for private capital clients. Prior to joining ARA in 2009, Brian worked for a local development company where he managed the completion of a 169-unit multifamily project in downtown Austin, TX. Brian attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated with a BBA in Finance-Real Estate from the McCombs School of Business. He is currently an active member of the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) where he serves on the Affordable Housing Committee.
