Steve O'Dell – Principal - Land

Steve O'Dell is a 30-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, including 20 years as a high-producing broker and 10 years as a commercial brokerage managing director. Terrance Hunt - Principal

Terrance Hunt has been involved with income properties for a majority of his life, beginning with personal investments. Mr. Hunt was involved with property management for several years until he joined Grubb & Ellis in 1995 to specialize in the sale of apartment properties. Mr. Hunt was the top producing apartment broker for Grubb & Ellis nationwide in 2002.
Terrance joined Apartment Realty Advisors in 2004 as Principal where he has been consistently one of Denver's top multifamily brokers, handling over $500 million in multifamily transactions. Mr. Hunt has extensive experience in all types of multifamily properties, including government subsidized housing, low income housing tax credits, condominium conversions and senior housing. Ken Greene, CCIM – Senior Vice President

Ken's commercial real estate career spans over 35 years and includes both brokerage and brokerage management in multiple locations. He joined the Denver Grubb & Ellis multi-housing team, subsequently Apartment Realty Advisors in 1999, where he specializes in the sale of Colorado Springs properties. His most recent transactions include the 208 unit Village at Westmeadow, the 332 unit Champions at Norwood, the 194 unit Commons at Briargate, the 250 unit Resort at University Park, and the 167 unit Park Terrace apartments in Pueblo. Ken began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker in Sacramento, California. In 1983, Ken relocated to Colorado Springs as manager and principal of the Schuck Commercial Brokerage Company, which became Grubb & Ellis. In 1986, Ken was asked to lead the Grubb & Ellis offices in Ohio which he did for ten years. Prior to his real estate career, Ken was a pilot in the United States Navy and retired as a Captain in the Naval Reserve. He received a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Miami. Ken is also a certified commercial investment member (CCIM) of the Commercial Real Estate Institute and a full member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) serving on the ULI Multi-Family Council.
Shane Ozment – Principal

Shane Ozment joined Apartment Realty Advisors in September 2002 and specializes in the marketing and sale of multifamily properties in the metro Denver market and throughout Colorado. He is involved in all aspects of the marketing process including valuation, client/prospect contact, contract negotiations and closings. Since joining ARA, Shane has sold over $100 million in multifamily assets. He is consistently recognized by the Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of Realtors as a Heavy Hitter due to yearly sales volume. Shane brings a high level of successful marketing strategies and sales skills to the Denver ARA office.
Prior to joining Apartment Realty Advisors, Shane was employed as a stock broker with Morgan Keegan, Inc., and as a financial advisor with Prudential Securities in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Ozment has over fifteen years experience in securities and investment sales. He received his Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of the Ozarks and his Masters Degree in Finance from the University of Colorado.
Kevin McKenna - Senior Associate

Kevin McKenna joined Apartment Realty Advisors in 2007 as a broker focused on the Colorado Springs market. Prior to joining ARA, Kevin held successful brokerage positions with Grubb & Ellis, Marcus & Millichap, and Cushman and Wakefield in Colorado and California.
Throughout his career Kevin has sold over 1,500 apartment units in Colorado Springs with a total consideration in excess of $115 million. These transactions have spanned from 10 units to over 300 units for a full spectrum of clients that include private individuals, nonprofits, institutions, lenders, and special servicers.
Kevin was born and raised in Colorado Springs and graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Finance.
Chris Cowan - Principal - Land

Chris Cowan joined Apartment Realty Advisors in 2004 and specializes in the marketing and sale of multifamily land in the metro Denver area. Since 2006, he has been involved in the sale of land for the development of over 4,000 units with a total consideration in excess of $74 million. His areas of expertise include land sales for institutional apartment, condominium, affordable, student and senior housing developments. Chris' past and present clients include Camden, Trammel Crow Residential, Martin Fein Investments, East West Partners, and The Lionstone Group. Chris is involved in all aspects of the marketing process including valuation, client/prospect contact, contract negotiations and closing. He is also responsible for a comprehensive land database that tracks pertinent information aiding in the entitlement and development process of multifamily land. This database includes market land data, construction pipelines, and municipality fee structures. Chris graduated from the University of Denver with a combined Business degree in Real Estate and Construction Management with an emphasis in Statistics.
Jason Wine - Associate

Jason Wine's 15 year multi-family career has given him extensive experience and a broad perspective. Jason has worked as a Property Manager, Private Investor and as a Private Developer. Jason joined Apartment Realty Advisors as Associate Broker to work with Doug Andrews and Jeff Hawks with the Institutional Team as well as Terrance Hunt and Shane Ozment on the Private Client Services Team. In this capacity Jason has worked on a broad range of apartment deals including HUD Properties, Non-Profit Acquisitions, Broken Condo Deals, GP Buy Outs and Ownership Entity Transfers. Jason graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and in 2006 received a Master's of Science from Denver University's Real Estate and Construction Management program. Jason is a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker and a fourth generation Colorado Native.
Justin Hunt - Associate

Justin Hunt joined Apartment Realty Advisors in 2008 bringing with him fourteen years of real estate experience. His background includes property management, private investment activities, as well as lending, underwriting and compliance management. While at ARA, Justin's focus has been on the marketing and disposition of destabilized multi-family assets, in addition to financial analysis. Mr. Hunt works closely with several lending institutions in assessing multi-family collateral and producing disposition strategies for distressed assets.
Prior to joining ARA, Justin was Regional Manager at GMAC ResCap where he managed operations for 18 states producing $2.5 billion in transactions annually. Justin was raised in Colorado and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate.
Mark Foster - Associate

Mark Foster joined ARA in 2011 and specializes in the marketing and sale of multifamily properties in and around the west metro Denver submarkets. He has extensive analytical background in residential and commercial real estate. While working for HVS Capital and SREI Financial as an analyst, he was responsible for market feasibility reports, due diligence, pro forma analysis, and loan underwriting for various commercial/residential properties totaling over $200 million in value. His knowledge and skills provide clients with the necessary information to make an informed decision about their investments.
A native of Colorado, Mark has a passion for real estate and enjoys both the personal and professional side of the industry. He is a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker and earned his Master's of Science in Construction Management and Real Estate Finance in 2007 from the University of Denver. He is currently pursuing his CCIM certification. As an owner/manager and developer of income properties, Mark is actively involved in the real estate market and understands the value of real estate to owners, investors, tenants, and business owners.
Andy Hellman - Associate

Andy Hellman joined ARA in 2005 where he soon became both the Director of Research and Senior Financial Analyst for the Colorado, Arizona, and Utah markets. During his time at ARA, Andy has valued in excess of $10 billion in apartment properties and has become a leading resource for Colorado's apartment market. Most recently, Mr. Hellman joined Terrance Hunt, Shane Ozment, Justin Hunt, and Mark Foster on the Private Client Services team and specializes in the marketing and sale of multifamily investments in and around metro Denver.
