Marc E. deBaptiste, Principal
Marc served as Vice Chairman for the Community Redevelopment Agency of Delray Beach and President of the South Palm Beach Country Boys and Girls Club. He is recognized as a distinguished spokesperson at industry forums. Serving as a board member of the National Multi-Housing Council, Marc's reputation as an expert in commercial real estate transactions for more than two decades is firmly established.
Prior to the formation of the company, Dick was a leading investment sales specialist with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate where he structured transactions for office, retail and industrial products. Subsequently he co-founded a South Florida-based investment sales company that primarily represented institutional owners with an emphasis on multi-family communities. Dick was president of this company for ten years prior to forming the Florida office of Apartment Realty Advisors.
Dick has been a resident of South Florida since 1968. He is an active member of the National Multi-Housing Council and on the Advisory Board of the University of Florida Center for Real Estate Studies. A graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate, he has appeared as a spokesperson at national meetings and forums including National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF), Nova University Masters program and the University of Florida Masters of Real Estate program.
Avery is involved in all aspects of the marketing process including client development, valuation, contract negotiation and closing. Avery performs the business development, market research, buyer underwriting and prospect follow- up for the company's marketing assignments. Since joining ARA, Avery has been actively involved in the sale of over $3 billion in multifamily assets throughout the state of Florida. Avery is a board member of University of Florida's Center for Real Estate Studies and is a member of ULI, NMHC and SEFAA. In 2007, Avery was recognized by Real Estate Forum as The Next Generation: The Top 35 Real Estate Professionals Under 35 and won the "Up and Comers" award presented by the South Florida Business Journal. Avery has also been noted as a Daily Business Review Dealmaker and a CoStar Power over the past decade. Prior to joining Apartment Realty Advisors, Avery was a consultant with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), where he maintained client relationships, managed the scope of engagements and delivered recommendations to client executives. Avery assisted regional banks, investment banks and other financial services clients in developing business strategies, financial models and business plans. Additionally, Avery has been actively involved in fundraising for the United Way, and has served as a board member for the Literacy Volunteers of America.
Avery graduated with honors from the University of Florida and has a Bachelor of
Science degree in Finance and Real Estate. In addition, Avery holds a Florida real
estate brokerage license and a Florida mortgage broker license.
In 2010 The South Florida Business Journal named Hampton a Power Leader in Commercial Real Estate and in 2011 a Heavy Hitter in Commercial Real Estate. He was named a Power Broker by CoStar multiple times as well as being a finalist for Multifamily Deal of the Year in 2010 and 2011 by The Daily Business Review. Prior to joining Apartment Realty Advisors, Hampton was a Director of Sales for a publicly traded communications company, where he managed a regional sales office. Hampton won numerous awards for sales and leadership and his office was ranked among the top performers in the country.
Hampton has been actively involved with fundraising for the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County and he has served as host for several fundraising functions. Hampton also serves on the Board of Directors of the West Palm Beach Police Athletic League (PAL). He graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors of Science. Hampton holds a Florida real estate brokerage license.
Prior to joining ARA, Troy was a founding partner and president of TM Real Estate Group, a full-service real estate organization. At TM, Troy had in-depth involvement across the full spectrum of services performed by TM, including commercial real estate asset classes of multi-family, land, office, retail and hospitality. Troy also served as Court Appointed Receiver on more than 20 projects throughout Florida. Since its creation, TM was involved in the operations and development of more than 9,000 residential units, 1.25 million square feet of commercial, and numerous land projects including core infill, mixed-use, and suburban sites. Mr. Ballard also served as senior project director with The Related Group of Florida, where he was involved in numerous residential, retail and mixed-use projects. These projects include the award winning Cityplace mid-rise development in West Palm Beach, Florida, consisting of 600 residential units and 600,000 square feet of retail space. Other projects include Boca Grande, a mixed-use urban midrise in Boca Raton and The Moorings at Lantana, a mixed-use waterfront community and marina. Troy was also involved in numerous other entitlement projects and directly oversaw the sales of over $200 million of condominiums. Troy also served as development partner and president of development for BF Group. During his tenure there, he managed over $300 million in development, conversions, acquisitions and dispositions.
Mr. Ballard has a Professional Bachelors Degree in Architecture with minors in Real Estate Finance, Business Administration, and Art History from the University of Miami.
