Patton K. Jones, Sales Director is responsible for business development, market research, and underwriting in the Austin and San Antonio region. Prior to joining ARA, Pat was involved in a myriad of different entrepreneurial ventures: single-family patio home development, international sales manager for a Fortune 500 tech firm, and a principal in an aviation parts company. While running the aviation parts business, Pat worked overseas and was responsible for sales in 33 countries. Pat received his Political Science degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
 
 
Andrew Shih

Andrew Shih, Director of Private Client Services, manages the Private Client Services Group (PCSG) in Austin and handles all aspects of the marketing process taken on by the PCSG, including client development, pricing strategies, valuation/ modeling, marketing, as well as negotiation and closing of transactions.

Prior to joining ARA, Andrew was a Vice President at a major brokerage company where he focused on new client development, financial underwriting, marketing and escrow management for multifamily transactions. He has been involved in the multifamily brokerage industry since 2002, closing almost 70 transactions totaling over $120 million. His prior real estate experience also includes researching and analyzing multifamily agency securities for the commercial mortgage-backed securities trading desk at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and analyzing residential mortgage mergers & acquisitions while part of the finance team at Chemical Bank. Andrew received his B.S. from Cornell University and his M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
 
 
Casey A. Fry

Casey A. Fry, Transaction Manager, is responsible for business development, market research, and underwriting in the Austin and San Antonio region. Prior to joining ARA, Casey worked with The Weitzman Group, focusing primarily on tenant representation brokerage services in the San Antonio area. Casey assisted in the site selection process for clients such as Chase Bank and Taco Cabana, among others. Casey attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a BA in Corporate Communications.

Alex Whitaker

Alex Whitaker, Lead Graphic Designer, works in the marketing department of the Austin office. Alex is responsible for creating the marketing materials for properties in the Austin and San Antonio region as well as the national student and manufactured housing groups. Prior to joining ARA, Alex Whitaker has worked with some of the country's best architects and developers and is an expert in 3-D modeling generating life-like renderings for many prestigious projects in Central Texas. Alex has a bachelorÕs degree in architecture from Texas A&M University with a focus in environmental design.
 
 
Elizabeth DeKoch

Elizabeth DeKoch, marketing assistant, works in the marketing department in the Austin office. Elizabeth is responsible for creating marketing proposals, coordinating site visits and handles all due diligence for the Austin and San Antonio region, and also for the National Student Housing Group and the National Manufactured Housing group. Elizabeth received her bachelor of science degree in psychology from Texas Christian University.
